Paul Borchardt grew up in Manitoba and attended Brandon University. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, Paul began his career with the Cooperators Insurance Group in 1979. Honesty, integrity and focus on client goals have been hallmarks of Paul’s career from the start.
In 1997, Paul started his own consulting company providing I.T. professional services to public and private industry clients. Over his career, Paul has completed a number of achievements and educational milestones related to personal and financial development. He has extensive background in large projects as a key member of the first Automated Teller project in Canada (Credit Union ATMs), first Saskatchewan Prescription Health Card (Sask Heath), first Saskatchewan automated Land Registry (ISC), first Canadian Credit Union “Chip” MasterCard (CUETS) and first Saskatchewan gas module and automated customer billing (SaskEnergy).
Taking this passion to a new level, Paul joined Raintree Financial Solutions in November, 2015. He has experience with insurance products, company and government pension plans, mutual funds and management of personal stock portfolios. He is committed to providing excellent service in assisting clients in diversification of their investments.
Paul has served in volunteer capacities (financial and other) on professional, community and church boards. He has been involved as a player and coach / manager in hockey, football, soccer and baseball. He and his wife Marlene have three married children and eight grandchildren.
