Kristopher Schmidt is a wealth advisor with more than a decade of experience in financial services. His work is shaped by a background in credit, risk evaluation, and real-world financial analysis built during his years at Scotiabank. He helps families and business owners make clear, confident decisions with their money, offering guidance that cuts through noise and focuses on bespoke strategies designed to provide access, uncover opportunity, and support diversified, long-term wealth growth.
Kris’s path started early. He left home at 17 to pursue competitive hockey, earning both academic and athletic scholarships while playing varsity hockey at Brock University. He graduated with an Honours Business degree with a concentration in Finance from the Goodman School of Business. He holds his insurance license in Ontario and integrates tax-efficient planning strategies into his work. He is also completing the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation to deepen his investment expertise.
Outside of advisory work, Kris coaches and develops young athletes in the GTA’s competitive hockey community and stays active as a golfer and hiker. These interests keep him grounded, connected, and committed to helping others reach their potential both on and off the ice.
