Allyn brings extensive expertise and a client-focused philosophy to his financial planning business. He draws on over 29 years of experience in financial planning. To assist his clients, he maintains the chartered financial consultant and chartered life underwriter designations.
Prior to beginning his career, Allyn obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary. Before starting his own business, he worked for a national accounting firm, a major bank as well as a large insurance company. Through this broad experience in financial services , Allyn has developed a keen understanding of the diverse financial tools available to clients and the analytical skills to match clients to the right financial tools for them. Allyn excels at understanding client’s individual needs and finding solid investment opportunities to help them navigate markets increasingly impacted by low interest rates, geopolitical turbulence and falling economic growth rates.
The values guiding Allyn’s service to clients are objectivity, honesty and transparency. As an independent advisor, he provides unbiased and clear advice to clients to help them reach their goals.
Outside of work, Allyn enjoys following politics, engaging in local community service projects and spending time with his wife and four children.
