Avenue Living Real Estate Core Trust is an open-end mutual fund trust targeting stabilized multi-residential assets with strong occupancy and stable income. The Core Trust is a vertically integrated real estate principle operating in 17 markets across Western Canada, currently managing over $1.7B in assets.

Avenue Living pursues opportunities in B/C class multi-family residential assets which they believe can create value, preserve cashflow and deliver strong, risk-adjusted returns with a focus on long-term ownership. Avenue Living serves a niche market called “workforce housing”. Workforce housing caters to a particular subset of the population – essential workers who are overqualified for affordable housing but may not yet be able to afford to rent or purchase average market-rate homes.

Jason Jogia is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Avenue Asset Management. Mr. Jogia has over 15 years of experience in real estate capital markets and has originated over $10B in real estate loans and over $500M in equity. Prior to Avenue Living, he led the management of a $1.5B real estate lending portfolio at a major Canadian bank. He has extensive experience in real estate investment analysis and capital structure on various real estate asset classes. He serves an instructor at the University of Calgary specializing in Real Estate Finance. Mr. Jogia also serves as a Board member for the Calgary Public Library Foundation. He obtained his MBA from the University of Calgary, and his Masters of Corporate Finance at SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy.
